Güz Erdem Puts Up A Masterful Performance On “Ascendence”

ASCENDENCE

Güz Erdem

OVERALL RATING (??????????)

If you like well-structured, soothing, and complex music, you will absolutely love Güz Erdem. More than a month ago, I wrote about “Transcendence,” a track Güz created that boasts therapeutic vibes. “Ascendence,” his latest creation, is a very good sequel to “Transcendence.”

The gripping buildup that you hear on “Ascendence” does a great job of preparing you for magic. Once the song introduces calming vocals, a nice drum pattern, and chilly guitar licks to the fray, your ears should start to perk up in excitement. Around 2:15-2:25, the song beautifully transitions into something that is a little more tranquilizing, before returning to its vivacious self.

You have to appreciate how intricate “Ascendence” and “Transcendence” both sound. If you are a lover of authentic jazz music, I highly recommend that you listen to the two songs!
