Jim Jones & Harry Fraud continue to prove that their chemistry is real on “The Fraud Department.”
I can’t believe that Jim Jones is still a significant player in the hip-hop game fifteen years after The Diplomats reached their peak. This past weekend, Jim decided to release The Fraud Department, an album that deserves its flowers right now.
While listening to The Fraud Department, the first thing that came to my mind is how the album has this classic feel. Throughout it, Jim Jones spits hood-holy bars over Harry Fraud’s compelling beats. When Jim isn’t killing s**t, you get to hear featured guests like French Montana, Maino, Conway The Machine, Dave East, Trav, Jay Worthy, Big Body Bes, and Kenny Sway do work. All in all, The Fraud Department should go down as the best release this week.
