What do y’all know about Dope Girl Fresh Gwenny?
You youngins probably don’t remember Gwen Stefani when she was in No Doubt. What you youngins might remember is when Pharrell created a hip-hop image for her back in the early 2000s. Well, it looks like Gwen’s hip-hop image is still alive and well, because today, she decided to release a very hip-hoppish song called “Slow Cap” with Saweetie (I am such an amazing writer. Who else uses hip-hoppish to explain hip-hop s**t?).
As expected, “Slow Cap” is the cheesiest song you will ever press play on. It features a beat that is full of queso, a hook that is full of mozzarella and raps that are full of Colby Jack. What I do like about the song is that it talks about women being independent and focusing on their cheddar.
