A curious craft of atmospheric sounds that inspires nostalgic feelings.

Max (aka Shmaxi) is an independent artist from Texas whose childhood was immersed with musical influences. Growing up, Shmaxi played the drums and other instruments before discovering a passion for ambient compositions and scores. His debut album Movies Before Bed was written, produced, mixed, and mastered by Shmaxi in his bedroom. Movies Before Bed is meant to feel hopeful and nostalgic. “Home Video” is a track off the album.

This alternative track feels uplifting with its endless arrangements of ambient sounds, from the nostalgia-inducing tones to the light instrumental chords.
