RGM RATING (??????????)

A soft yet captivating reflection on the joy of feeling free.

Tel Aviv, Israel-based rising musical artist, Lia D’sau, is an 18-year-old singer and songwriter. Her work uses a unique storytelling approach to explore a wide range of topics such as loneliness, womanhood, love, and personal reflection. D’sau follows up her debut single, “Manboy,” with the inspirational indie tune “Bird” and its accompanying visuals. D’sau had this to say about her new release, “This song means a lot to me, especially after these last 2 years of isolation and feeling trapped: in our homes, our countries, our heads.”

“Bird” is a short yet incredibly personal reflection of leaving the badness behind and flying free. D’sau says, “This song is meant to be like a breath of fresh air after being stuck in a basement for a year.” The uplifting yet straightforward visuals exude a carefree vibe as D’sau rides through the desert on a bike as the charming “Bird” recounts D’sau’s personal desires. There’s also a wonderfully poetic sense to the absolutely beautiful lyrics. Check out D’sau’s latest single and feel inspired by her expressive journey.
