Kid Travis is a f**king beast!
A lot of people know Kid Travis as the guy that kills covers; I know him as the dude that kills original songs. S**t, I am still blasting his “Two Late” track from a year and some change ago. One of Travis’ latest singles is “Where You’re From,” a track that is just as good as his best work.
”Where You’re From” is all about turning the tables on someone who thinks they can walk all over you in a relationship. The song is powered by an uptempo instrumental that will encourage you to dance, passionate vocals, and outstanding melodies. It’s just the lyrics that might put a snob in a bad mood. Moral of the story: Don’t be a snob so that you can enjoy music like this.
