I’ll Be Fine
Leroy Booker & Luke Reelfs
RGM RATING (????????)
A beachy rap and pop song with pleasant reminders of spring.
Leroy Booker had anything but an ordinary childhood; from moving multiple times to enduring custody battles, he had to grow up quickly at a young age. Despite the love from his parents, when his home environment wasn’t stable, he found a home on stage. He performed for the first time at twelve during a school talent show. He then started working with the Kusd Theater and began connecting with other artists. Although the journey hasn’t always been easy, it’s how Booker got to where he is today. His Spotify, Apple Music, and Instagram brag thousands of shares. He has released songs such as “Good Times” and “Projector 2 Somewhere.” Now, Leroy Booker’s latest single is the hit “I’ll Be Fine.”
“I’ll be fine” is the type of pop song that has serious replayability. It is an excellent warm-weather song, dropped right in time for spring. The lyrics are catchy, and the vibes are fun and beachy. Featured guest Luke Reelfs jumps in about halfway through the song to rap. His rap style is soft and pleasant, so it melds well with Booker’s vocals. When their vocals are present simultaneously, it adds another dimension to the song that enchants listeners. Overall, the two artists bring multiple genres and sound to the joyful tune. So, stream Leroy Booker’s “I’ll Be Fine” to prepare for some summertime happiness.
