RGM RATING (????????)

Fireboy DML has a formula that works.

I probably play Fireboy DML’s “Peru” track at least five times a day (The Ed Sheeran version, of course). In my opinion, the Afrobeats track features vibes and melodies that are way too damn infectious to ignore. Proving that he’s no fluke, Fireboy decided to drop a hot new single called “Playboy.”

Just like “Peru,” “Playboy” is designed to make women whine their hips, and to make playas feel untouchable. Throughout the song, through sly melodies and soothing vocals, Fireboy lets it be known that he’s the wrong boss to f**k with. I think the track has great potential. I also think that it clearly indicates that Fireboy has a distinctive sound.

Give “Playboy” a shot below.
