RGM RATING (??????)

A. Heard and Easy Eli never disappoint when they link up.

A. Heard, also known as Silence, is a producer and artist from the DMV area who now lives in Atlanta.  Throughout his career, he’s worked with artists such as Dej Loaf, Dj Luke Nasty, Jarren Benton, and many others. His most common collaborator is R&B singer Easy Ell. The duo’s pieces are available on Spotify, Instagram, and YouTube. A. Heard’s most recent hit is the rap single, “Practice.” This single also has an accompanying music video.

“Practice” is the perfect collaborative track. Ell and Heard go back and forth with different styles about a common topic: People showing up in your life to reap the benefits after you’ve put in the time and effort to level up. Lyrics like “where was you at, where was you at when I had my back against the wall?‘ talk about that abandonment. However, while the lyrics are important, the beat is loud and fast, inspiring the action the lyrics talk about. Ell and Heard have a powerful dynamic. Their work is catchy and it sticks in your head long after it’s done. As a bonus, the song was also part of the soundtrack of ‘Belaire,’ so it has already gained some attention. So, stream A. Heard’s “Practice” today to learn how to block out the toxic people in life.
