Kabinett is a group of five friends from South-West Germany. In 2019, they came together to release the ideas, melodies, lyrics, and beats that were living in their heads. As a result, Kabinett became their outlet. Their music is the definition of a melting pot: It’s a little bit of dirty garage rock with tight funk and a dash of spheric indie-electro. There is no telling how this group will influence the German and American music scenes, but one thing is certain, as they like to say: “There will be wine.” The group’s music is available on Spotify, YouTube, and Instagram. Kabinett’s newest single is “Blueberry Lips,” a song from their EP of the same name.
One of the benefits of a five-person group is all of the ideas that come together. With that being said, “Blueberry Lips” is the culmination of Kabinett’s great ideas. Matter of fact, the song has several moving parts. However, at the same time, if one sound was missing, the song wouldn’t have been the same.
