“Sunmomi” combines various elements for an Afrobeats meets hip-hop experience. Content-wise, the song revolves around communication and managing love. Lyrics like “I’ve been lost in this head of mine. Sometimes, I can’t find my shine” and “Working on communication, baby. I know, my mood swings got you looking stupid” are hard-hitting. The three artists melodically explore their feelings by making sure they explain how they appear to others. Clearly, this is important to all three of them, and as artists, it should be.
