Macklemore Drops the Emotional “CHANT”

Macklemore’s music always makes me feel like Jesus is one stoplight away from coming back to earth. 

Yes, it’s time to get over the fact that Macklemore won a Grammy over Kendrick Lamar. It’s time to now give Mack his credit for being a rapper that releases very powerful music. This past weekend, the Seattle rapper dropped “CHANT,” a song in which he endorses resiliency and denounces materialism.

“CHANT” merges a galavanting hook (That has churchish undertones) with passionate raps and a stirring beat. The more the song plays on, the stronger it gets. Ultimately, the s**t turns into a full-blown mega boss that wants to start a melee with your ears.
