Cam’ron Takes Aim on “Dusky, Pt. 2” Amid Ongoing Dame Dash Feud

Rating: 2.5 out of 5.

Cam’ron, Donald Trump, and DJ Akademiks are three people you don’t want to beef with.

Cam’ron is elite at balancing charisma, business, and pure pettiness like it’s part of his daily routine. Whether he’s debating sports or stirring things up on It Is What It Is, he never really stays quiet for long.

Now, he’s back in music mode with “Dusky, Pt. 2,” a track that feels less like a traditional release and more like a direct shot. The record arrives amid his ongoing tension with Dame Dash, a feud that has recently spilled over into interviews and social media.

Driven by a stripped, militant-style beat that sounds like it’s built for marching orders, Cam uses the track to call out someone he paints as dusty, a drunk, and completely disheveled. Fans are connecting the dots quickly, and all signs point toward Dame being the target.

That said, the tone isn’t entirely serious. While Cam shows flashes of sharp delivery, most of the record leans into humor. The chorus is intentionally ridiculous, and many of the bars feel designed to entertain more than destroy.

As someone who grew up on Dipset and Roc-A-Fella’s partnership, this beef is both sad and hilarious to see.
