Beyoncé is the biggest female artist in the world right now. She has a crazy net worth, a huge social media following, and lots of platinum records. With that being said, I love how she doesn’t feel too big to pay homage to those who probably look up to her. In “BREAK MY SOUL (The Queens Remix),” Beyoncé shouts out a bunch of people that she admires.
This is a very choppy version of “BREAK MY SOUL.” The beat goes through several different stages and there is a blend of all kinds of background vocals (Some are Madonna’s vocals). For the most part, Beyoncé’s verses are the same as her verses in the original version. What she does add to this remix is a poetic part in which she shouts out Aaliyah, Rihanna, Lizzo, Kelly Rowland, Lauryn Hill, Janet Jackson, Diana Ross, Alicia Keys, Tierra Whack, Whitney Houston, Solange Knowles, Nina Simone, Aretha Franklin, and Grace Jones.
