Listen To “Louie” By Kenny Beats

Louie (Album)

Kenny Beats

“Louie” is Kenny Beats’ debut album.

Kenny Beats is pound for pound one of the best producers on this planet. The reason you may not know that is that he is very selective with who he chooses to work with. Throughout the years, Kenny has helped produce albums by Vince Staples, Rico Nasty, Freddie Gibbs, and not much more. Today, Kenny decided to be greedy and release his first official solo album, Louie.

According to Kenny Beats, this album came about after his father’s cancer diagnosis. Below is what he had to say about the whole process in a press release:

“I always said that I wouldn’t do a solo album because I didn’t have anything to say. Finally, I did,” Kenny said in a statement. “Something dark turned into something beautiful. This album encapsulated the feeling of that one month.”

Foushée, Paris Texas, Vince Staples, Thundercat, JPEGMAFIA, and slowthai all make guest appearances on Louie. Listen to the album below.
