Did anyone else think of a French Montana song every time Morocco scored a goal?

Morocco’s World Cup run was very fun to watch. Not only was it exciting to see an African country make it to the quarterfinals, but the country was also a huge underdog. Though Morocco ended up losing to France on Wednesday, that didn’t stop French Montana, probably the most Moroccan rapper in the world, from releasing a world cup anthem.

“Morocco” is the definition of joyous. The song, which features a festive instrumental and colorful vocals, is mainly in French’s native language. Though I can’t tell you a single word other than “Hahn” that was said, it still put a big-ass smile on my face.

I was hoping Nigeria would be the first African country to make it to the quarterfinals; I guess beggars can’t be choosers.
