Black Reign Dat 1 Drops “Dead Rapper”

Dead Rapper

Black Reign Dat 1

I felt this track in my soul.

Whenever Black Reign Dat 1 raps, he makes a major impact. What stands out to me about him is that he has a very raw street sound, relentless flows, and a knack for keeping it all the way real in his music. Black Reign Dat 1’s latest release is the strong 11-track album 12 Oclock Boys. One of the best tracks from the project is “Dead Rapper.”

In “Dead Rapper,” a track that is powered by an emotional trap beat, Black Reign Dat 1 talks about the untimely deaths of rappers such as Pop Smoke, Takeoff, PnB Rock, Chinx Drugs, Lil Snupe, and more. What I absolutely love about the track is how real the Baltimore rapper keeps it from start to finish. Not only does he vividly outline how senseless some of the killings in hip-hop have been as of late, but he also does a great job of letting the world know how easy it is to have your life spiral downward if you’re not careful. All in all, you’ll like this song’s deep messages and dynamic flows.
