Conway The Machine Drops “Quarters”

Quarters & Brucifix

Conway The Machine

Conway The Machine holds the beat mercy in “Quarters.”

I truly believe that Conway The Machine can go bar for bar with just about anybody in the game; including Benny The Butcher. My one issue with him is that he doesn’t drop a lot of mainstream singles and projects (I feel like he’s living in the mixtape world). Today, Conway released his biggest single in a while: “Quarters.”

Over this sly-ass beat that actually sounds a lot more energetic than your typical Griselda beat, Conway The Machine uses unbelievable wordplay and impressive flows to remind listeners that he likes choosing violence, that he’s blowing money faster than Ross, and that he has heat coming down the pipeline. For those of you that are watching the music video to this song, you will also get a chance to hear “Brucfix,” a song with a horn-driven beat that never really gets started, a Westside Gunn feature, and some ruthless and cocky lyrics from Conway. Overall, this release just feels like a hood acceptance speech.
