The Weeknd (Ft. Playboi Carti & Madonna)

Having Playboi Carti and Madonna on your song is wild as s**t.

Do you know what I love about The Weeknd? His whole career is based on him being creative as f**k. Like, he’s not one of those basic artists that can drop the same s**t over and over again. All in all, I never try to predict what his next move will be. With that being said, never in my wildest dreams would I think he would make a song with both Madonna and Playboi Carti.

I’m pretty damn sure that The Neptunes produced this track. The beat that we get on it sounds like some s**t that ’03 Britney would absolutely slay. The good news is this: Everyone featured in the song shines bright. Not only does The Weeknd hit us with highly infectious melodies that pair perfectly with his lyrical content that revolves around the price of fame, but you also get a bridge out of Playboi Carti that is entertainingly weird and a verse from Madonna that has her channeling her old self both vocally and lyrically. All in all, I think this song is a vintage-sounding bop.

Yep, that computer sneeze that we get sprinkled throughout this song confirms that The Neptunes produced this s**t (I’ma music nerd, y’all).
