A$AP Rocky Returns With “RIOT (Rowdy Pipe’n)” Produced By Pharrell

RIOT (Rowdy Pipe’n)

A$AP Rocky

I think ChatGPT made this song…

Can you believe it has been five years since A$AP Rocky dropped his last project? In 2018, Russell Westbrook was still an all-star with crazy-ass stats; now he’s behind me on the Clippers’ depth chart. Anywho, while I respect that Rocky doesn’t just release stuff just to release it, I think we’re all due for something new from him. The good news is this: This year, he is scheduled to release a brand new project. The first single from it arrived today: “RIOT (Rowdy Pipe’n).”

The phrase “This will grow on me” doesn’t get used enough. However, I’ve used it for almost every single song I’ve heard A$AP drop since 2015. With that being said, I think “RIOT (Rowdy Pipe’n)” will grow on me. The song is powered by a booming, horn-driven beat by Pharrell that sounds more annoying than enjoyable, braggadocious lyrics that feel a little blah, and a bunch of useless different rap flows. As for the hook, it sounds like a bootleg AI program created it. I don’t love this s**t, but I do love that we’re inching closer and closer to a new project from Rocky.

I really be wondering how songs like this get cleared… Like, who told this ninja this song was good?
