Austrian-born artist, James Hersey, started his career by releasing DIY bedroom pop music. Finding his own footing in his local music scene, Hersey was able to cultivate a strong fan base by offering giveaway mixtapes. He received his first chart hit in 2015 with the single “How Hard I Try,” reaching #96 in Germany and #33 in Austria. Since then, he’s toured extensively in Europe and the U.S.; he’s also toured at festivals such as Coachella and Lollapalooza. Another popular Hersey hit is “Fake Love.” His new album, Let It Shine, is set to be released in September.
