Rapping is now Cam’ron’s hobby.
Can you believe that at a certain point, jits will know Cam’ron more for his sports show with Mase than for being a rapper? S**t, they might not even know that Cam and Mase had their differences in the past. Personally, I think he’s one of the greatest rappers of all time. Today, the Dipset honcho returned to the music scene with a new single called “Go & Get It.”
Cam’ron used to create his own flows back then, so it’s a little disappointing that he relies on a heavily recycled one in “Go & Get It” (You know, that tongue-twisty one folks like Rick Ross were abusing a few years back). The good news is that Cam still sounds like a savage lyrically. Not only does he bring up his love for money, but he also reminds us that he loves stealing women and pulling the cards of so-called thugs. I also rock with the simple but dark beat that powers the song.
Cam’ron deserves his flowers.
