YUME & Tory Lanez Join Forces For “Pull Up”

Rating: 4 out of 5.

Tory Lanez releases aren’t coming out as frequently anymore.

My primary focus is music, not court cases. That being said, I believe Tory Lanez is one of the most talented musicians in the hip-hop industry. His ability to seamlessly transition between being a highly skilled rapper and an authentic R&B singer is truly exceptional. Unfortunately, with Tory currently in jail, we’re not receiving as much new music from him. However, this past Friday did bring us a new collaborative single featuring Tory Lanez and the up-and-coming singer YUME, titled “Pull Up.”

“Pull Up” is one of those irresistibly smooth R&B tracks that quickly embeds itself in your mind. The song features an incredibly catchy chorus, high-pitched vocals, infectious melodies, and an entrancing beat that I thoroughly enjoyed immersing myself in. Lyrically, the two artists delve into themes of self-improvement and flexing their success and status. While I may not be fully familiar with YUME, her contribution to the track shows she has ‘it.’

Give “Pull Up” a shot below.
