More Song Ratings (10/1/2023): Maxo Kream, Skilla Baby & Boosie Badazz

We close out September with style!

Maxo Kream (Ft. Luh Tyler) – Whatchamacallit

It’s interesting that Maxo Kream and Luh Tyler trade verses in “Whatchamacallit.” I feel like they have two completely different styles. Whatever the case may be, I rock with the carefree lyrics and consistent flows the two rappers hit us with in this song.

????

Skilla Baby – Bae

Yet another banger dedicated to the dimes of the world (There will never be enough of these). This one has a booming beat that I love and lyrics that are addictive. This is easily one of Skilla Baby’s best releases.

???

The Plug  (Ft. Swae Lee & Stefflon Don) – Run Through

Swae Lee and Stefflon Don talk their s**t so effortlessly and smoothly in this chill banger. I think folks will rock with the song’s vibes. I do think it’s a little on the long side, though.

??

Boosie Badazz & B.G. – BG Free / My Dawg

This is a very heartwarming song to listen to. In it, Boosie Badazz welcomes B.G. home and tells him how much he missed him. We also get closing words from B.G. (Not raps, but a nice little monologue). I wouldn’t call this song great, but it’s interesting to listen to.
