Who said rappers don’t smile enough?
Bfb Da Packman continues to prove he is one of hip-hop’s most entertaining personalities. Beyond having one of the coolest names in rap right now, the Houston artist has been building serious momentum thanks to his humor, charisma, and ability to make records that hit harder than Jalen Duren.
His latest single, “Cheesing,” links him up with Memphis standout Key Glock for a collaboration that plays directly into both artists’ strengths. Backed by a menacing, club-ready beat produced by Tay Keith, the song has the type of knock that’ll make any club in the hood jumpin’.
Lyrically, both rappers focus on familiar winning themes: getting it out of the mud, making money, and f**king with floozies. While the subject matter overlaps, their styles create the magic.
Bfb Da Packman attacks the track with animation and personality, sounding like he is ready to talk slick and throw hands in the same breath. Meanwhile, Key Glock keeps things cool, calculated, and smooth, gliding over the production with his signature Memphis delivery and effortless confidence. To me, the contrast is perfect.
All in all, “Cheesin” is one of those club bangers that will be universally enjoyed.
