To begin with, the song features an unorthodox, old-school hip-hop beat that could easily excite fans of artists like Eazy-E and Bone Thugs-N-Harmony. Over this beat, as expected, NBA YoungBoy delivers assertive lyrical content, reminding listeners once again that he’s like the real-life Grim Reaper and has one of the most impressive come-up stories in the game. Although I didn’t initially connect with the song’s rhythm, it gradually grew on me as it played on.
