Chris Brown Recruits Davido & Lojay For “Sensational”

Rating: 4 out of 5.

Chris Brown on Afropop records is unstoppable.

I am finally ready for another one of Chris Brown’s 78-track albums. We haven’t gotten one in a while. What Chris has been giving us as of late is very solid singles. Right now, “Summer Too Hot” is going wild, and I am still personally bumping his collaboration with Vedo called “Do You Mind.” Today, Chris decided to keep his momentum going by dropping an afropop single with Davido and Lojay called “Sensational.”

“Sensational” is right out of Wizkid’s playbook. The song has this extremely smooth afropop instrumental that will make a chick take her clothes off faster than Jada mentions Tupac in any convo she enters. While we don’t get a verse from Wizkid in the track, we do get outstanding contributions from Chris Brown, Davido, and Lojay. Not only do they hit us with silky smooth vocals that align perfectly with the production, but they also hit us with romantic lyrics that you wouldn’t hear from your average R&B artist today. All in all, “Sensational” is a vibe in every single way.

Chris Brown really is a versatile artist. He can create any track you want him to.
