Kalan.FrFr has been excellent all year.
Kalan.FrFr’s time is now. If you don’t think so, go to the Apple Store and ask them to fix your damn watch. Throughout the year, he’s been racking up tons of streams and delivering exceptional guest features (his guest appearance on Diddy’s “Stay Pt. 1” is particularly impressive). One of Kalan’s singles that has garnered significant attention is “BUTTERFLY COUPE” with Tyga. This past Friday, the LA artist dropped a remix of the hit featuring Quavo.
Quavo fits “BUTTERFLY COUPE” like a glove (And I’m not talking about OJ’s glove either). Over the song’s beat, which has a nice tempo and carries great club-ready energy, Quavo employs sly melodic raps to discuss the beautiful women he typically has at his club tables, his rockstar lifestyle, and his butterfly coupe. I believe his sole verse in the track fits perfectly with Kalan’s contributions both stylistically and lyrically.
Quavo may not be the number 1 stunna, but he’s in the top 5 of stunnas.
