50 Cent, Leon Thomas & Fetty Wap Expand The Energy On “No One Told Us (Extended Version)”

Rating: 4 out of 5.

Fetty Wap adds unexpected energy to “No One Told Us (Extended Version).”

50 Cent is a busy man these days. While he mainly spends his time developing TV shows and films, and cussing people out on social media, it seems like he has that music itch again. Recently, he revisited his Leon Thomas-assisted theme song with “No One Told Us (Extended Version),” now featuring Fetty Wap.

Originally tied to ‘Power: Origins,’ the track already carried weight through its cinematic feel and determined messaging. This updated version does not drastically reinvent the instrumental, but subtle dramatic embellishments and a slight key shift help make the song feel refreshed. The production still sounds urgent, polished, and built for high stakes.

Leon Thomas continues to provide soulful vocals that add emotion and gravity, while 50 Cent delivers the gritty presence listeners expect. Fetty Wap is a fairly random addition on paper, yet he fits surprisingly well. He offers a passionate verse packed with soulful melodies and rugged bars, matching the urgency of everything around him as he raps about hustling, loyalty, and overcoming pressure.

All in all, though I didn’t need a Fetty Wap guest appearance here, it’s good to hear the very short song get a nice little extension.
