Stunna Girl Has The Goodies In “Stand Up” With YG

Rating: 3.5 out of 5.

Stunna Girl reminds me of a slightly more polished and aggressive Saweetie. She’s also very unapologetic. In her songs, Stunna usually puts her competition in their places and speaks about being the kind of woman that only real men can handle.

Last year was Stunna Girl’s biggest year to date. She dropped the hit single “Like That,” which sparked a remix with JT, and one of my favorite songs, “Courtesy Of A Rich Nigga.” It looks like Stunna is ready to top her previous year already by dropping a hot new single with YG called “Stand Up.”

The very first thing that will catch your attention about “Stand Up” is the beat. It samples Ciara and Petey Pablo’s classic “Goodies” beat. Over it, Stunna Girl animatedly raps about all the pleasureful things she can do for a man, how much of a boss she is, and how golden her vajayjay is. As for YG, he slides in with a slick verse that has him reminding us that he’s more than capable of going toe to toe with a bad chick. Though it’s the production that will make this song a hit with people, I also think the hook Stunna delivers is catchy, and the chemistry between the two artists is on point.

Give “Stand Up” a shot below.
