The Haunt Won’t Stay Silent On “I Don’t Like The Quiet”

Rating: 5 out of 5.

Hailing from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, The Haunt is an alternative rock and pop-rock band formed by siblings Anastasia and Maxamillion in 2015. They began their musical journey by performing at local shows and releasing original music. The band gained attention with the release of their debut EP, “The Haunt,” leading to opportunities to tour with Palaye Royal. Subsequently, they followed up with EPs titled “Social Intercourse” in 2021 and “Dead On Arrival” in 2023. The Haunt has made a return in 2024 with their latest electric single, “I Don’t Like The Quiet.”

“I Don’t Like The Quiet” by The Haunt is far from subtle or quiet. This pop-rock track is a bold and chaotic blend of powerful emotive vocals accompanied by intense guitar and drum arrangements. Lead vocalist Anastasia passionately sings about an intense, unrequited love, refusing to keep silent as she unleashes her pent-up emotions. The song concludes with a slowed, tranquil outro, symbolizing the extinguished light resulting from the demise of this love. The Haunt kicks off the year with a robust track, reviving a beloved genre that has seen less prominence in recent times. Press play and experience “I Don’t Like The Quiet” when you crave more than just silence.
