Pressa & Toosii Do It Big In “W Hotel”

Rating: 3.5 out of 5.

I appreciate the cultural nuances that come to the forefront when Canadian and American rappers collaborate. In this track featuring Pressa from Canada and Toosii from North Carolina, their synergy is evident, showcasing a shared understanding despite the subtle differences in their respective backgrounds.

The lyrics that we get in “W Hotel” are very interesting. In Pressa’s verse, he reflects on his past affinity for alcohol and its impact on his decision-making in relationships. He also expresses a preference for brief encounters rather than deep, long-term connections with women he deems insignificant. Toosii’s verse, on the other hand, is filled with boasts about his romantic conquests and the luxurious lifestyle he enjoys.

“W Hotel” boasts nothing but melodic raps. Pressa exudes a more sentimental vibe, while Toosii comes off as a bit cocky. The great news is that both their styles seamlessly complement the solitary undertones of the track’s production.

Damn, I want to be so rich that I can afford to be sad in a W hotel…
