TOP 5 SONGS

5. Dream

“Dream” wraps up the project in a way that feels both peaceful and powerful. After multiple laid-back tracks, it settles into a sound that feels like exhaling stress and slipping into reflection. The production is airy and calming, while Disdazie keeps pace with restrained vocals that occasionally swell with emotion.

Eventually, the track builds into a more booming, bass-heavy section that highlights a confident, accomplished version of him, proud of how far he’s come. A few subtle flexes add character before the track closes out with real presence and authority.

4. Click Click

“Click Click” is about as slick as it gets (Hell, Disdazie mentions how slick it is at the beginning). Built on production with a hard-hitting bounce and a cinematic feel overall, it grabs your attention and never lets go. Disdazie floats over the instrumental with a fluid, wave-like melodic style that moves with the beat like tide shifts. The chorus is especially infectious and, in my view, the most memorable section of the entire track. This is one of the moments in which Disdazie shows me his Tiller side.

3. Locked In (Ft. Rhett Hayes & Jadon Seal)

“Locked In” features production that blends chill summer vibes with a bounce strong enough to challenge Wemby at the rim. Over it, Disdazie, Rhett Hayes, and Jadon Seali find multiple ways to attack the beat, delivering clever punchlines, varied flows ranging from fast-paced to laidback, and lyrics aimed at dreamers, winners, and those in relationships that are fully locked in. Beyond the standout verses, the chorus is especially catchy and perfectly executed

2. Margarita

When hasn’t a margarita made a situation better? Never is the correct answer. In “Margarita,” Disdazie delivers something warm and breezy, evoking beachside living with the wind hitting your face. Here, he sounds at his loosest, yet still offers something highly infectious. He flows effortlessly over each beat thump, almost riding it like a wave. Overall, no drama, good vibes, and a great view define the energy this track promotes.

1. Don’t Trip

“Don’t Trip” is easily one of the most laid-back and stylish moments on the project. It leans into a smooth tempo and an intimate bedroom atmosphere. Lyrically, it keeps things relatively simple yet catchy and emotionally rich. The song centers around reassurance and confidence, delivering an “I got you” vibe for someone who’s clearly moved on and is operating on a different level than the people she used to deal with. This is a hit.

RGM RATING

Rating: 4 out of 5.

Disdazie’s Seasons establishes him within the modern DMV-influenced R&B space while carving out a distinct identity built on emotional restraint, melodic control, and subtle hip-hop aggression. The project thrives on contrast, blending smooth vocal textures with punchy cadences and occasional rebellious bursts, keeping the momentum unpredictable.

Across the record, Disdazie leans into atmosphere as much as melody. The production is consistently rich, shifting between smooth, nostalgic warmth, airy atmospheric layers, and cinematic sound design that elevates each track’s emotional weight. Nothing feels accidental; every instrumental supports the mood it is meant to carry.

Featured appearances from Rhett Hayes, Jadon Seal, and jd help diversify pacing without disrupting cohesion. Lyrically, Disdazie moves through trauma, self-assurance, and ambition, forming a clear emotional arc.

Ultimately, Seasons is a carefully constructed project that prioritizes mood, progression, and emotional honesty while showcasing Disdazie’s versatility as a vocalist and storyteller.
