GloRilla Kills Her Competition With “Yeah Glo!”

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

I love me some GloRilla. I appreciate the gritty energy she brings to the female rap genre, her personality in interviews, and how her buzz didn’t come off clout-chasing. While we eagerly await her debut album (can you believe she hasn’t dropped it yet?), the Memphis native made a triumphant return to the music scene with “Yeah Glo!”

In “Yeah Glo!,” GloRilla boldly proclaims her superiority over her haters and flaunts her luxurious lifestyle, complete with flashy cars and street credibility. When it’s all said and done, her verses are harder than trying to convince Darvin Ham to stick to a single starting lineup.

This song earns high praise from me, almost reaching a 5-star rating, for several reasons. Firstly, GloRilla delivers a catchy hook that sticks in your mind long after the song ends. Secondly, the beat is hard-hitting with booming bass, creating a powerful backdrop for GloRilla’s aggressive vocals. Overall, this song is perfect for pumping up your workout at the gym and has the potential to ignite the dance floor at clubs.

GloRIlla might be my favorite female rapper in the game today.
