3. Sandwich Bag (SRCMTRL RMX) (Ft. Termanalogy and TYP-ILL)

“Sandwich Bag (SRCMTRL RMX)” gives off vibes as if people infiltrated The Wizard of Oz’s land.

My favorite beat on this album has to be in “Sandwich Bag.” The tempo of the song, along with its glimmery elements, is perfectly balanced (SRCMTRL, you’re truly a wizard). As for the featured guests, Termanalogy and TYP-ILL, they shine brightly in their contributions. They combine to deliver a raucous chorus that pays homage to a few classic hip-hop lines and a chill verse full of amazing wordplay, clever punchlines, and reflective lyrical content that explains why weed is such an important tool in their lives.

2. Get Off My Cloud (SRCMTRL RMX) (Ft. The Kid Daytona & Nature)

When legends talk about smoking weed >.

I’m drawn to “Get Off My Cloud (SRCMTRL RMX)” for a specific reason. It merges vintage gutter raps with a shimmering beat and stoner vibes that resonate deeply with me. The Kid Daytona and Nature alternate between delivering punchy raps, vividly expressing their fondness for smoking and its influence on their demeanor, and rebellious lyrics that exude a carefree attitude. It’s an enjoyable listen.

1. Cilantro (SRCMTRL RMX) (Ft. Chuuwee & Roc C)

They’re not discussing toppings for tacos.

If you weren’t sure what this EP was all about, “Cilantro (SRCMTRL RMX)” gives you an immediate taste. In this track, which is driven by a hard-hitting beat with mesmerizing undertones, Chuuwee and Roc C deliver impactful bars that reflect on the positive vibes they experience while getting high. Chuuwee lays down gritty raps on the hook and his verse, while Roc C brings slick energy in his verse. Don’t you just love the variety of weed-smokers represented here?

RGM RATING

B- (%80)

If we’re setting aside a day for alcohol (May 5th), why not do the same for weed, huh? 4/20 has steadily gained popularity as a favorite holiday for many, and I doubt that will change anytime soon. Projects like Greenery, inspired by weed culture, truly embody the spirit of the holiday.

In Greenery, you’ll find a fantastic mix of hard-hitting raps, impactful beats, and just the right amount of hazy vibes to please. SRCMTRL shines as a fantastic producer and curator for this niche project, though it’s a shame it ends too quickly.

Greenery is available now through all major digital retailers and streaming platforms via Crisis Center Collective.
