Kendrick Lamar Responds Immediately With “Meet The Grahams”

Rating: 5 out of 5.

I’m one of those assholes that calls himself a major hip-hop fan but got all liquored up last night, so I wasn’t able to witness the greatest night in hip-hop history. So, for those of y’all that ended up in a similar situation, this is what happened: Around 11 PM, good guys time, Drake dropped a diss record towards Kendrick Lamar called “Family Matters.” Kendrick must’ve seen this coming because he responded expeditiously with his own new diss record called “Meet The Grahams.” This s**t is starting to feel like the Knicks game from the other night. When you think the game is over, someone does some crazy s**t to extend it. Below, I will talk about the record Kendrick “Tyrese Maxey” Lamar dropped.

As I’ve done with all of the diss records that have dropped in this devilish battle, I will first talk about how “Meet the Grahams” sounds. It has this mad scientist-like beat, with Kendrick Lamar sounding like the child of Frankenstein and Stan over it. He doesn’t really give us any dynamic flows or drop any crazy punchlines; he treats the song like he treats his itineraries: Everything is direct. That said, y’all don’t care about the way the song sounds; y’all care about the exposing he does in it and trust me, I got y’all covered! In his verses, Kendrick talks directly to Drake’s family members, including his mother Sandra and his son Adonis, telling them why their father/son is a deadbeat, sissy, pedophile that needs to die (even my paraphrasing sounds harsh). Kendrick also talks directly to Aubrey, calling him a habitual liar who hates black women, abuses drugs, and is under the watch of the feds. Yeah, this s**t has become messier than a Forever 21 in one of those hood malls.

When the dust settles, this will go down as one of the greatest diss records of all time.

People don’t seem to understand how deep this track is. Like you said when it is all said and done, it will go down as one of the greatest diss track.
