It’s becoming increasingly apparent that Kendrick Lamar and Drake’s feud is garnering as much, if not more, attention than the impending political showdown between Joe Biden and Donald Trump. With each passing moment in this battle, allegiances are being drawn and lines are being crossed. In the past 48 hours alone, this battle has unfolded across five intense episodes: “6:16 in LA,” “Family Matters,” “Meet The Grahams,” “Not Like Us,” and now “The Heart Part 6.” In his latest release, Drake tackles some of the burning questions that have been lingering in all our minds.

In “The Heart Part 6,” we observe a sharply focused rendition of the 6God. Here, he sheds his typical infectious melodies and killer punchlines, opting instead for a more serious tone over militant production. Now, onto the lyrics, which take center stage. Throughout the song, Drake makes several key points: he suggests that Kendrick fell for the rumors surrounding his daughter, debunks the authenticity of the artwork on Kendrick’s recent releases, wonders why Kendrick’s wife, Whitney, hasn’t responded to the allegations made in his past two diss tracks, accuses him of buying views, and asserts that he’s reaping what he’s sown. In my view, with this release, Drake achieves three goals: he debunks numerous outlandish rumors propagated by Kendrick in his previous tracks, demonstrates his unbothered demeanor, and signals that he may be ready to bring this feud to a close.

At this point, I need Maury or Karamo involved in this s**t. Hook these two rich negroes to lie detector tests.
