FERG Premieres His New Name With “MDMX”

Rating: 3.5 out of 5.

It’s very interesting that FERG decided to premiere his new name with a song called “MDMA.”

One of the people who didn’t jump in the Drake vs. Kendrick Lamar beef, Ferg, has returned to the music scene with a new single. Yes, I purposely said “FERG” without saying “A$AP.” Did he get kicked out of his old group? I have no clue. If I were to guess, though, he wanted a fresh new start. Well, he’s got it with “MDMA.”

New name, same old FERG in “MDMX.” Relying on this flipped version of Birdman and Mannie Fresh’s classic hook from “Get Your Roll On,” FERG speaks on treating chicks like blunts, partying a little too hard, and rolling with muthaf**kas that would do serious harm to you. He also speaks on the big checks he’s cashing, proving that he’s still that n***a.

Fans of FERG will appreciate his seamless blend of rowdy and sly vocals over a bass-heavy beat that packs enough punch to shake the Fruit Loops off your fridge. Additionally, his subtle sense of humor adds another layer of enjoyment to his music.

Give “MDMX” a shot below.
