Scorey Says He’s “Feeling Fine”

Rating: 4 out of 5.

Scorey is back!

There are two songs by Scorey that I’ve overplayed these past couple of years: “Alone” and “Girls Love Rod Wave.” For me, they both carry incredibly captivating melodies, authentic lyrics, and a sense of therapeutic release. It’s evident that Polo G, Scorey’s friend, has greatly influenced his musical style. Now, to start off 2024, Scorey has made a comeback to the music scene with his latest single, “Feeling Fine,” and it’s just as impressive as the others I mentioned.

In “Feeling Fine,” Scorey navigates the delicate balance between love and heartbreak, victories and defeats, and chaos and tranquility. Despite outwardly claiming to be fine, the emotional toll of these experiences weighs heavily on his mental state.

If you’re drawn to emotional hip-hop, “Feeling Fine” is sure to resonate with you deeply. Its production seamlessly blends touching and trap elements, providing the perfect backdrop for Scorey’s heartfelt delivery, reminiscent of Polo G. With honest lyrics and a passionate performance, “Feeling Fine” emerges as a soul-stirring banger that reaches deep into the listener’s core.
