Dianny Dior, NAV & Cash Cobain Click Up For “Favorite Lady”

Rating: 4 out of 5.

Where the hell has NAV been?

If you’re NAV, are you disappointed that Drake didn’t diss you? I mean, some of the shots the 6 God was taking at folks were pretty heinous, but at the same time, everyone who got dissed received a hefty boost of streams. Whatever the case may be, NAV will soon make his full return to the music scene with a new album called ON MY WAY 2 REXDALE. He made his slight return today by featuring in a single with Dianny Dior and Cash Cobain called “Favorite Lady.”

This track is definitely on some puppy love s**t. In “Favorite Lady,” Dianny Dior and NAV go back and forth on their loyalty to one another. This comes with dismissing exes and being present at all times. I’m surprised they wrote this s**t during the playoffs because everyone knows plans get canceled when game 7s start popping up.

So, I wouldn’t call Dianny Dior’s performance in this track Mariah-like, or NAV’s performance Sam Smith-like. What I will say is that the latter does a fantastic job of coming across as a laidback girl who is all about catching vibes with her man, while the latter comes across as an emotional thug who shows off his sweet side whenever he’s around his girl. Strangely, I love the chemistry they show in the track.
