FERG Drops “More Than U Know Freestyle”

Rating: 4 out of 5.

FERG is emptying the clip these days.

It feels strange to see FERG without the A$AP, right? The good news is he’s still very much a part of the A$AP crew; he’s just using FERG as his stage name now.

These past couple of weeks, FERG has been releasing single after single, each showcasing his boisterous, carefree attitude. In his latest single, “More Than U Know Freestyle,” he really highlights his often underrated rap skills.

I absolutely love how real FERG’s lyrics are in this track. Throughout “More Than U Know Freestyle,” he discusses going to therapy, the $100 million record deal he recently signed, and why he thinks celebrating wins is important. He also reaffirms that he’s still tapped into his Harlem community.

Though you can never turn off FERG’s hypeness, “More Than U Know Freestyle” also shows that he’s solid when it comes to putting his head down and straight spitting. His rap style sounds especially great over the hard-hitting, soulful beat that backs him up. Good s**t.
