Byron Messia, Lil Baby & Rvssian Link Up For “Choppa”

Rating: 4 out of 5.

I believe every violent sentiment Byron Messia says.

One of my favorite tracks in the past five years is Byron Messia’s “Talibans.” While it’s the melodies that catch my attention the most, don’t sleep on the demonic s**t he says throughout.

Byron Messia is back with a heinous new single called “Choppa,” featuring Lil Baby.

In “Choppa,” Byron Messia literally comes across as a serial killer. He talks about his gun like it’s a tasty burrito bowl and continuously marvels at seeing his enemies drop to the ground from bullet wounds. While such heinous words shouldn’t be celebrated, my guy, when they’re delivered with a smooth melody and backed by this vibey island beat by Rvssian, it’s hard to deny.

Recently, Lil Baby went across the pond to link up with Central Cee. Now, he’s in the slums of Jamaica with Byron Messia. In his verse on “Choppa,” the Atlanta native talks about being the ultimate hustler, drinking his problems away, and not caring if you don’t rock with him. He also reminds us he’s riding around with choppers as well. Thankfully, he doesn’t sound as demented as Byron. Overall, I like Baby’s verse a lot.

Byron Messia scares me.
