This is the type of track that will have your buzz doing backflips.
There’s something about the combination of house music and hip-hop that continues to work, and HUGEL and Quavo prove why on “Where She Come From.”
The production immediately sets the tone with a groove that feels perfect for festival crowds and clubs filled with flickering lights and ridiculously long bathroom lines. HUGEL creates an atmosphere that keeps the track moving, while Quavo’s delivery brings the punchy rap energy that naturally fits this type of production. Lyrically, the Migos rapper talks about running into a woman who is badder than the Kansas City Royals this year. If I had to guess, his next move would probably involve getting this mysterious girl a drink.
Will “Where She Come From” make it onto your weekly playlist? Probably not. However, the second you hear it blasting in a club while on vacation, that s**t will have you vibing. It feels like one of those random songs you hear in a party setting where you don’t even know who made it, but somehow it’s the perfect soundtrack for the moment.
