House Of Miagi Thinks You’re That “Somebody”

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

House Of Miagi tackles House and succeeds.

House of Miagi (aka HXM) is a Nigerian-born, London-based singer-songwriter with a voice that can move mountains, swagger that is next-level, and lyrics that are as deep as it gets. For these reasons, he’s a must-listen.

While most of House Of Miagi’s biggest hits, such as “Over Me” and “Sade,” fall under the pop/R&B category, his latest single, “Somebody,” appropriately embraces house vibes.

“Somebody” is powered by an uptempo, compelling house beat that only gets more thrilling as the song progresses. Over it, House of Miagi talks about finding a woman who understands how to tickle his fancy, have his mind racing, and get on his nerves just a little bit. At the end of the day, this person is clearly worth fighting for. Ultimately, I love how bouncy, infectious, catchy, and enjoyable this track is.
