Mike SB Aims To “Stand Out”

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

Inspirational music for the soul.

Mike SB is my kind of artist. He has a clear and concise delivery, doesn’t limit himself to one sound, and most importantly, actually talks about meaningful s**t in his music. To make a long story short, you will leave a track by him feeling satisfied.

Usually, I don’t discuss an artist’s influences, but Mike SB’s are worth mentioning because they reveal a lot about him. Growing up in Fort Lauderdale, he listened to a diverse range of artists like Tupac, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Limp Bizkit, and Metallica. As he got older, he gravitated towards artists such as Wiz Khalifa, Mac Miller, Joey Bada$$, and Mike Jones (Who? Mike Jones). If that’s not variety, I don’t know what is.

If you want to get hip to Mike SB’s music, listen to his biggest singles: “Slow Day,” “Love More,” and “Family Business.” His latest single is “Stand Out.”

Mike’s ability to seamlessly blend different styles and influences is evident in “Stand Out.” The track showcases his versatility, with the verses bringing a confident, hard-hitting rap flow, while the chorus offers a softer, more melodic approach that adds depth and emotion to the song. His lyrics resonate with anyone who’s faced challenges and is determined to keep pushing forward, making “Stand Out” both relatable and inspiring.
