dee holt Has “tunnel vision”

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

dee holt sounds mesmerizing when she’s mesmerized by love.

I really wonder if dee holt knows how much I love “dishes.” I’ve played the song during workouts, drives, while mowing the lawn, and, of course, while doing the dishes (it hits the most when you’re doing the dishes). What I love about it is that it highlights her quirky personality while also showcasing her eclectic vocal style and ability to tap into a side of pop that is truly soul-clenching.

dee holt is much more than “dishes,” though. She’s also dropped other popular tracks such as “Picture” and “Nobody Like You.” Holt’s latest single, “tunnel vision,” also moves the needle for me.

In “tunnel vision,” Dee Holt talks about being with a boy who she loves so much that she starts to physically and mentally feel impacted. She gets dizzy, melts, and does some overanalyzing. The track is powered by an upbeat pop instrumental that I love, boasting a very intoxicating melody and featuring a chorus that you won’t get out of your head anytime soon. Holt’s expressive vocals paired with the infectious rhythm make “tunnel vision” a standout track that captures the euphoric yet overwhelming nature of intense love.
