Ice Meez Gives Valuable Lessons In “Tomorrow”

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

Ice Meez never misses.

Corey Byrdsong, known as Ice Meez, is one of those rappers I turn to when I want to hear some real talk. Hailing from Northern California, Meez has been making music for over a decade and consistently keeps it real about the everyday struggles we all face. Simultaneously, he’s tapped into the streets, offering a compelling perspective on that front as well.

In the past few years, we’ve covered some major releases by Ice Meez, including “Friendzone,” “My Moment,” and “Blue Faces.” His latest single is “Tomorrow.”

In “Tomorrow,” Ice Meez delivers a valuable lesson: enjoy today because the next day isn’t promised. While this may seem like a simple message, Meez provides examples of the trials and tribulations he’s faced and how he’s handled them by looking forward and not dwelling on them. What I love about the track is how dramatic it sounds as a whole. It features an emotional beat with strong West Coast elements, a very assertive rap delivery, and an extremely consistent flow.

Listen to “Tomorrow” by Ice Meez.
