This is shaping up to be Snoop’s most eventful album yet.

Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre are again joining forces for a new album titled Missionary, set to release this November. During an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Dre revealed more than expected, hinting at an appearance from Sting. “We have Sting on the song,” Dre said, adding, “Man, it’s an amazing roster of artists on this album. I shouldn’t have revealed that, to be honest.”

Dre also discussed how Missionary differs from their iconic 1993 collaboration, Doggystyle. “This one’s gonna show a different level of maturity with his lyrics and with my music. I feel like this is some of the best music I’ve done in my career,” he shared. He noted that he’s currently working on the 11th song and is pushing to meet a September 1st deadline to complete the mixes in time for the album’s release.

Snoop and Dre also recently performed together at the closing ceremony of the Paris Olympics, symbolically handing off the torch to the 2028 games in Los Angeles.

As the release date approaches, I’m personally looking forward to what promises to be an exciting and eventful collaboration. I can’t wait to see who else will be featured on this highly anticipated album.
