Who’s more of a pump faker: DeMar DeRozan, Kanye West, or Playboi Carti?

Playboi Carti is one of the most polarizing figures in hip-hop today, largely due to his enigmatic presence. Since his debut, it’s been nearly impossible to predict when he’ll drop an album, post on social media, or even wear something ordinary. However, I’m now more convinced that a new album from Carti might be coming this year, especially after the release of his latest single, “ALL RED.”

Is that Playboi Carti or Future? In “ALL RED,” Carti deepens his voice a few notches, delivering a performance that’s catchy as hell, with an excellent flow, and dripping with dark, braggadocious energy as he talks about rocking upside-down crosses, blitzing muthaf**kas, messing with thots, and cruising in expensive Bentleys. My favorite thing about the track is the booming, mechanical trap beat. My second favorite is how Carti rides the beat like he’s surfing a wave. All in all, I really enjoy this joint.

This might be one of the first Playboi Carti tracks that I unequivocally and thoroughly enjoy.
