Hailing from Southwest Philadelphia, he’s built a name for himself by self-producing tracks that showcase raw passion, authentic lyrics inspired by his tough upbringing, and a versatile range of hip-hop styles. Over the years, RecoHavoc has earned co-signs from big names like Lil Uzi Vert and the late PnB Rock. Back in 2018, he also had the opportunity to collaborate with DJ Drama on a mixtape, further cementing his place in the game.
Recently, RecoHavoc dropped a new single with Reese Young and DJ Crazy called “Circles.”
I really vibe with “Circles.” First, the glitchy, smooth, start-and-stop jersey club beat gives the track a unique energy. On top of that, the blend of punchy rap and intoxicating singing from RecoHavoc and Reese Young keeps you hooked from start to finish. Another thing that stands out is the switch-up in the lyrics—starting off with some sweet, lovey-dovey lines about spoiling a girl who deserves it, then flipping to a bit of toxic energy, before smoothly circling back. All in all, this dynamic banger deserves your attention.
